Who I am

I'm Sophie, and I run SKH Massage & Recovery from The Beauty Barn, Oldwick Farm, West Stoke Road, Chichester, West Sussex, PO18 9AA. I'm responsible for the personal information described below. You can contact me at sophie@skhmassagerecovery.com or on 07526 573392.

What I collect and why

Enquiries. If you email or phone me, I keep your name, contact details and what you've asked so I can reply.

Bookings and treatments. When you book, my online booking system collects your name, email, phone number and appointment details. You'll also be asked to complete a consultation form before your first appointment. This includes health information, which I need to make sure your treatment is safe and suitable. I only use it for that purpose, and I only collect it with your agreement.

Payments and gift cards. Payments for bookings and gift cards are taken through my booking system. I don't see or store your card details.

Who else handles your information

I use a few trusted services to run the business. They only handle your information to provide that service.

• Ovatu (book.app), my online booking system, holds your booking details and consultation form.
• Google provides my business email, and my Google Business Profile where reviews are left.
• Netlify hosts this website and keeps standard server logs, which include visitors' IP addresses.
• Featurable displays my Google reviews on this website. When a page with reviews loads, your browser contacts Featurable to fetch them.

I don't sell your information or use it for anything unrelated to looking after you and running my business.

Cookies

This website doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, and I don't track you across other sites. The booking system and review display are provided by other companies and may set their own cookies or similar technology that they need to work. You can block cookies in your browser settings.

How long I keep it

I keep booking and treatment records for as long as I need to look after you safely and to meet my insurance and legal requirements. Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted after a reasonable time.

Your rights

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it (unless I need to keep it for legal or insurance reasons). You can also object to how I use it, or withdraw your agreement for me to hold your health information. Just email me and I'll respond within a month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. I'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Changes

If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
